Thoughts That Touch My Heart

This morning, one of the Facebook pages I subscribe to asked this question..."Ladies, what are some life truths....what are some of your faith truths... what is your definition of truth?" I replied..."For me, some of my life truths are...(1) You can't keep doing the wrong thing and expect the right outcome. (2) Later on always comes. (3) If you eat the devil's corn, it's just a matter of time before you are choked on the cob. Some of my faith truths are...(1) Everything works out in the end. If it hasn't worked out, it's not the end. (2) Trust God. Do the next thing. (3) Pray. Trust God. Go to sleep. My definition of truth is, first and foremost, what God says in His Word. If we do what God says, there will be blessings and peace. If we do not do what God says, there will be trouble, self-inflicted suffering, and regret.
