Sometimes, I have brief moments when I am reminded of my past mistakes, failures, and poor decisions. I am reminded of people I should not have allowed into my life and other things I should have never done or gotten involved in. Not long ago, I came across these words, and they helped me so much... "God put our sin on his Son and punished it there. Your sins have been placed on Jesus. Jesus receives the blow. And since Christ is between you and God, you don’t. The sin is punished, but you are safe—safe in the shadow of the cross!" - Max Lucado

"The most important thing you can do in the course of a day is to pray. If we get up late or oversleep, which is more important? Rush to work without praying or pray first and then go to work? It's more important to pray. If we get angry, should we act on our anger or should we pray first? It's more important to pray first. If, during the day, we face indecision, what should we do? PRAY. If, during the day, we become irritated or we experience fear, what should we do first? PRAY. The Warrior who prays first will lead a different life from those who pray last." - COR

"If you were to stop and think about who you used to be - the things you used to struggle with - you'd get pretty excited about how far God has brought you." - JM

“As one year ends and a new one begins, be open to following the path that God will set out before you and realizing the wonders He has waiting for you. There is no guarantee the path will be a smooth one but it will be one that will be full of wonder and amazement as you walk with and grow closer to Him.” I hope you have a great new year my friends! – Elmer Laydon

“God is moving through your life right now as you read this. Don’t get impatient waiting to see the result of Him moving; you need to remember that He moves in His time, not ours. While you wait, rejoice the good days and try to hang on to hope during the bad days.” - I hope you have an amazing day today my friends! – Elmer Laydon

Often we stand at a life's crossroads and view what we think is the endbut God has a much bigger vision and He tells us, "Relax, it is just a bend." - Unknown

"Every person has two main files in their memory system. The first file is filled with all the good things that have happened to us -- our victories and accomplishments, the things that have brought us joy and happiness. The second file is filled with all the negative things -- our hurts and pains, defeats and failures, things that brought us sadness and sorrow. Throughout life, we can choose which file we access. Some people repeatedly return to file number two and relive the painful things that have happened to them. They practically wear out file number two, and they never get around to exploring file number one. If you want to be free, if you want to overcome self-pity, throw away the key to file number two. Keep your mind focused on the good things God has done in your life."

"I think everything in life is art. What you do, how you dress, the way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality, what you believe in, and all your dreams. The way you drink your tea, how you decorate your home, or party; your grocery list, the food you make, how your writing looks, and the way you feel. Life is art."

“If you concentrate on finding whatever is good in every situation, you will discover that your life will suddenly be filled with gratitude, a feeling that nurtures the soul.” ― Harold S. Kushner
