Last night, one of the Facebook pages I subscribe to asked this question..."Ladies, what does it mean to love yourself?" This is what I posted..."For me, loving myself means I stopped putting myself down. I stopped loathing myself. I stopped feeling like I was worthless. I began to accept that I am loved, I am accepted, I am significant. I am somebody. I began seeing myself the way God sees me...which is someone who is precious to Him...someone who is the apple of His eye...someone who was bought with a price. Once I began to accept how much God loves me, I was then able to love myself. As a result, I was able to love others with a love like I was never able to express before."
