In the clinic I volunteer at, I encounter patients who dwell on and in the past so much, it is nearly impossible for them to move into the next good thing God has for them. I make sure I share this verse with them..."Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." Isaiah 43:18-19
