At the clinic I volunteer at, I encounter patients who have allowed the "pain" in their life to override the "purpose." They get stuck in the pain. They sometimes forget that you have to "go through to get through." I make sure I share this verse with them..."When you pass through the waters I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Isaiah 43:2
