"How we become free from sad bad memories & dreams, in part, is to begin to have an attitude of gratitude. When we begin to be grateful to God for everything (the good, the bad, the happy, the sad)...when we are grateful that God delivered us out of something we should not be in, then our mind becomes filled with thoughts of how grateful we are, and the sad bad memories & dreams really do begin to fade away. What is in the front of our mind begins to move to the back of our mind. Then, we are in a better position to help other people who are going through or who have gone through the same thing. We don't waste the pain; we don't waste the sorrow; and we certainly don't waste the wisdom of what we learned."-Doris Little
