Today, I had the privilege of listening to a man, my age, tell me and others much of his life story. He was crippled on his left side from the shoulder down, and he had reconstructive surgery on his face. In 1996, he was beaten, run over twice, and left to die by a drug gang. Through that experience, he came into a relationship with God, through Jesus. While listening to him, he said a lot of things I won't ever forget. He said a couple of things I wrote down..."Choose the life you wish to live. If you live the life you choose to live, you also live with your choices." On a lighter note, he also said, "I'm over the hill, but at least I am on the 'right side' of the hill." God, thank you for this man!
