"Remember this truth tonight in whatever uncertainties you face: God is good, and God is good at being God." - LT

Sometimes, I have brief moments when I am reminded of my past mistakes, failures, and poor decisions. I am reminded of people I should not have allowed into my life and other things I should have never done or gotten involved in. Not long ago, I came across these words, and they helped me so much... "God put our sin on his Son and punished it there. Your sins have been placed on Jesus. Jesus receives the blow. And since Christ is between you and God, you don’t. The sin is punished, but you are safe—safe in the shadow of the cross!" - Max Lucado
"Don't do anything you don't have peace about. Let peace be the umpire that decides if a thing should be in your life or not." Joyce Meyer (Colossians 3:15)
"The most important thing you can do in the course of a day is to pray. If we get up late or oversleep, which is more important? Rush to work without praying or pray first and then go to work? It's more important to pray. If we get angry, should we act on our anger or should we pray first? It's more important to pray first. If, during the day, we face indecision, what should we do? PRAY. If, during the day, we become irritated or we experience fear, what should we do first? PRAY. The Warrior who prays first will lead a different life from those who pray last." - COR

"What do we do with disappointment? What do we do with defeat? The same thing every successful person has ever done: We wipe off our sweat, toss our worn and tattered jerseys in the wash, and we move on." - Tony Evans
"All of us will endure difficult circumstances in our lives. No one can completely escape all suffering. But as believers in an all-powerful, loving God, we know that He will take us through these low places to prepare us for ascending new heights." - Charles Stanley
"Pay careful attention not only to the information and influence that you allow into your mind, but also to what you are thinking on an ongoing basis. It is important to remind yourself to be very present. To focus your mind on the moment you are in, and not spend it in regret or rehearsing of the past or in fret and worry of the future. Learn the art of being grateful for each moment of life and you are on your way to living with a victorious mind." - TE
"If you want to find your
purpose, find God. If you want to get close to your purpose, get close to God.
When you get close to God, you get close to the One who knows the plans He has
for you—good plans for a future and a hope." - Tony Evans

"Happiness has to be found within yourself before you can truly find it with someone else. So many people are trying to avoid working on themselves. So many people think that if they pick a better person to be in love with, it will fix the rest of their problems. Love is not about finding someone who you can dump all of your problems on. Some people don't realize that, the work you do on yourself, will always play a part in your next relationship. To find a better person, you also have to be a better person as well." - IG

"When we get to know God—really know Him—it fills us with hope and confidence because we realize He’s greater than any situation we will ever encounter." - JM
