"If we give ourselves over to God, there is no end to our development and growth in grace. Our Lord has no fear of the consequences when once the heart is open toward Him." - Oswald Chambers

"Our lives mean much more than we can tell; they fulfill some purpose of God about which we know nothing; our part is to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean to our own understanding. Earthly wisdom can never come near the threshold of the Divine; if we stop short of the Divine we stop short of God’s purpose for our lives." - Oswald Chambers

"What are you addicted to? What are you dealing with? Do you think your addiction is safe or acceptable or not that bad, or you can quit anytime you want or maybe you just don’t care? What lies are you telling yourself, believing and accepting to continue on numbing the pain in your life?
Sin doesn’t miss anyone. We must realize that we are in a spiritual battle and that our enemy is a great deceiver. We must be aware today could be the day we are attacked. We have to arm ourselves from day to day in our spiritual walk & faith. How? Reading the Bible, Prayer, going to church, hanging out with other Christians, godly music, and all things that encourage, inspire, convict, teach, lead us toward Christ daily." - Proverbs Daily

"How a man treats others is often a direct reflection of how he will treat the woman in his life. Example: Men who need to show their masculinity and "strength" by insulting/verbally abusing service personnel—food/cocktail servers, coffee shop cashiers, whatever—aren't worth a woman's time... as they will most likely treat her the same in short order."-Charles J. Orlando
"Let us face life as it is, not as we feel it ought to be, for it never will be what it ought to be until the kingdom of this world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of His Christ." - Oswald Chambers

"Test, test, test! This chapter in your life may look like rehab, smell like unemployment, sound like a hospital, but you’re in training. God hasn’t forgotten you, just the opposite. He has chosen to train you. Forget the notion that God doesn’t see your struggle. Quite the contrary. God is fully engaged. He is the Potter, we are the clay. He’s the Shepherd, we’re the sheep. He’s the Teacher, we’re the students. Trust His training. You’ll get through this!" - Max Lucado
"Each day has a pop quiz! And some seasons
are like final exams. Brutal, sudden pitfalls of stress, sickness, or
sadness. What’s the purpose of the test? James 1:3-4 says, “For when your faith
is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your
endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for
anything.”" - Max Lucado
"Father, let today be a turning point. For every day is an opportunity for transformation. Oh God, remove our tired crusty eyes on life and replace it with a fresh vision of unlimited potential. Father, help us to "Arise from the depression and prostration in which circumstance have kept us. Rise to a new life!" (Isaiah 60:1) In Jesus name, Amen. - Amanda Carroll

"One great thing to notice is that God’s order comes to us in the haphazard. We try to plan our ways and work things out for ourselves, but they go wrong because there are more facts than we know; whereas if we just go on with the days as they come, we find that God’s order comes to us in that apparently haphazard way." - Oswald Chambers

"The majority of us know nothing about waiting; we don’t wait, we endure. Waiting means that we go on in the perfect certainty of God’s goodness—no dumps or fear. The attitude of the human heart towards God Who promises should be to give Him credit for being as honest as He ought to be, and then to go on in the actual life as if no promise had been made. That is faithful waiting." - Oswald Chambers

"What is bothering you right now? What is troubling you? What is concerning you? What is your need? Pray about those things. It is what the Scripture tells us to do."-Greg Laurie
"No matter what sorrow life has brought you, don’t stop until you see morning, because morning does come. It is at the end of set backs, betrayals, delays, and denials; but, when they’re all over, morning. It does come. Do not allow the tragedies of life to so depress you that you lose your hope. Do not allow the bitter disappointments and losses you face to rob your expectations of daybreak. Wake up singing hallelujah in the morning. Breathe in the fresh air, expel the stale air of your past, and say, "I can feel the breaking of day." Feel solace through sorrow. Know comfort in the midst of crisis. The morning does come!"-TDJ
