This afternoon, I was talking to God about something I found out that I simply do not understand. I found myself thinking, "I don't understand this at all. There's nothing I can do about it. I came across these words, and tears came to my eyes..."Sometimes, I think about the past and fall apart inside." This is what would happen to me. I would think about the past and fall apart inside. I am grateful to God for the healing He has done in my life. Now, when I think about the past, I don't fall apart inside anymore.

Today, I am grateful and happy because I got to go to brunch and spend time with both of my boys at the same time. The three of us hadn't been together since Christmas day. It felt like an early Mother's Day gift. :) Thank you, God, for Jason and Drew. Thank you for what they bring to my life. Thank you that they are my sons. ♥

 

Today, I was blessed to visit with a precious woman who ministers to drug abusers, alcohol abusers, homeless people, and incarcerated people. During our visit, she said, "I try not to walk in stupidity; but, when I do, the Lord protects me." Her words caught my attention, because I, too, have walked in stupidity, and God protected me. Thank you, God...so much!
