Thoughts That Touch My Heart

One of us here will be glad when "Valentine's Day" is over! The day has been spent sick... sick with some sort of crud... sick with seeing all of the Facebook posts of flowers & candy that women are receiving... sick that I couldn't even go out this evening with one of my girlfriends. I kept telling God, "Please help me get through this day. It's just another day." Then, in order to not have an even worse attitude, I made myself go back and "Like" the Facebook posts of the flowers, cards, & candy others received! I had to even shake off my attitude of, "What's up with all the red roses? Doesn't anybody think out of the box anymore?" So, there it is, ladies... the good humor & cheer confession of a lonely heart who is too under the weather to even do something loving & kind for another person right now. I hope I feel well enough tomorrow to hit the chocolate candy clearance aisle at Walgreen's. Maybe I'll find some socks with hearts on them. That would make me feel better for sure!
